BSA Bermuda 56.5cm (SOLD)Bikes
Here’s a classic resto for you, a beautiful piece of English engineering. This 1970’s BSA Bermuda, now restored to its former glory with a new Sturmey Archer 2 speed kick shift is a classy townie for your city rides. Made during the height of English bicycle manufacturing, the Bermuda is a practical bike, with full fender coverage and wide comfy Brooks saddle. The 2 Speed kick shift is one of Sturmey Archer’s genius hubs, this one giving a great extra range to what is essentially a single speed setup. All that is required for a gear change is a quick back pedal, perfect for your approach to a set of traffic lights or at the bottom of a hill.
BSA were manufacturing bikes as early as 1869, and were held in very high regard, eventually becoming a branch of Raleigh in the 1950s. This one is Raleigh made, and so comes with all the great quality Raleigh components of the time.
